Dare I drop these hands from this floodful chest
to release this far-shot prayer
this raw white dove with virgin wings?

Hope.  It can break your back like childbirth
that shit can break a smile like childbirth
yet while you break you worry what it’s worth

All it takes is a little faith to off shake these elephant shacks
which have pierced these stumbling anks from youth
Surely they will raise their chairs and leathers for fear
Surely they will remind of all those years
If only I will remember that his love gives me strength enough to be free
